Sue, Thank you for all the love, support and time you gave to Aunt Irene, no one will ever know all that you have given to provide her comfort and love! She was a very special Aunt, and she will be missed by many! She had such a long, enriched life and I'm sure she wondered many times why God chose her, as the eldest child, to be the one to survive all of her siblings, along with her parents! But he had his reasons, and we are not supposed to understand such things! Please know how much I appreciate all you have done for her! I love you all! Peggy

Sue, James and the kids: I just wanted to let you know that I will always have fond memories of Irene. She was a very nice, friendly lady, and I always enjoyed visiting with her whenever there was a Dan & Kim Sandretto family event. Kim is my daughter. We would visit with Irene whenever we went to the fireworks in Zion near her home. Both Irene and Maxine always made me feel like they were old friends, and I enjoyed our many conversations over the years. I know the last few years were very difficult for you and your family. Only we who have experienced that kind of trial can understand how difficult it is to endure. I visited Irene a couple times when she was first in Hospitality Manor when she had the eye problem and was glad to see that she was still sharp as a tack at that time. Your good memories will soon replace the tougher memories and they will help you through this time of grief. Irene is in my prayers as well as you and your family. Karen Gerdes
