I was very sorry to hear of your family's loss, David. I would hope it would be of some comfort to reflect on how much effort you and your family had put into making your mother's illness one whose burden was lessened by the presence and care of her children. Your concern for her quality of life and dignity lead me to believe that she must have been a wonderful person to have raised such a thoughtful son. My name is Connie and I'm one of the drivers for the American Cancer Society. I drove Millie to and from radiation. I got to know her somewhat and found that she was a very nice and funny lady. I met her daughter Laurie when I would pick Millie up and drop her off. My condolences to her family. I'm sure she'll be missed by all of you.
