I will miss you Lynn. Our song: "Just think of stepping on shore and finding it heaven, of touching a hand and finding it Gods, of breathing new air and finding it celestial, of waking up in glory and finding it home." You are finally there! I will miss you, but I know I will see you again. Love you.

To the family of Lynn Butz: We extend our love and deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother,mother-in-law and grandmother. We have known Lynn and Wally for many years. We met while camping in norther Illinois and had many fun times around the campfire and also making homemade ice cream and no Lynn was not first in line with her bowl, but guess who was. Whenwe moved from Chicago, they came to visit us in Sterling, Il and here in Geneseo, we have many memories of those occasions. When Wally passed on, Lynn wasn't going to come and we asked her why and she said well, Wally's gone and I won't come, and we assured her we still wanted her to come even if Wally wasn't here, and she did for so many more years and she even came to visit us in Texas where we wintered for several years. Lynn always brought her new recipes down and we got ours out and we spent hours copying eash others recipes and both used them and thought they were really good. Now when I go through the resipe box to make things for Christmas and New Year's I will see her name on many that I use. We will truly miss Lynn, but one day maybe not too far off we will see her again, we thank the Lord for that promice. We know she is not suffering anymore and is in a much better place. Take care and always remember that your mom loved you kids and grandkids very much and she always brought pictures with so that we could you all of you. Keep in touch and we love all of you too. Love and God's Blessings be with you. Betty and Mel Casanova

Lynn was what we looked forward to as our after Christmas guest. Lynn would come down for a week - 10 days stay at my folks home and share stories, play games, make awesome dip, play games, and just enjoy spending time with all of us, We would often enjoy a warm cup of tea together and listen to gospel music or watch a good movie and fall asleep in comfy recliners for a time, wake up and decide time to head to each ones bed so we would then hug goodnight and each make our way to our beds. When Sandy was battling cancer it was so much fun for both of them to come to Geneseo Il and walk in the Relay For Life Walk and hear how her daughter was going to kick cancer in its butt. When Lynn called to say the big c had hit her life we cried together and then said God willing your going to kick it in its butt also and promised to keep praying and keep in touch. Well God had other plans and now He has a beautiful lady as His newest Angel Gods comfort to all of you. Keep that chair at the table for that special lady though not there in life she will be with you in her spirit. Goodbye to my friend who treated me like a niece and loved me, my hubby and my kids to the very end. Cancer you Suck!!! Now resting in the cradling arms of Jesus, healed, finding loved ones and that Wally who went before, Bet Wally was waiting to meet Lynn at Heavens roadway. Love and Prays to you all, Marcia, Jim, Mark, Mandie, Boyer

You are in my prayers. Lynn was an awesome lady. She always had a smile and was so cheerful. She was a beautiful woman from the inside out. I remember her from growing up at Lakeview Church. What a wonderful reunion for her and Wally and other family members. Praying you feel God's comfort at this time.
