I have so many fun memories of Lora Lee from High school. She always was happy and laughing. She took a group of us up to the cabin at Door County one summer. We had such a great time! I hadn't seen her for a long time since I moved to California but ran into her at CCC last summer. It was so good to see her. I am so sorry that she left us at such a young age.

So many memories of cousin Lora. First call on Christmas morning "What did you get?" and then spending the day at Grandma Rooks' playing with our favorites. Swimming, skiing, skinny dipping, walking to Bunda's and sunsets in Door County. Rolling silverware and sharing a section as we learned to be waitresses. Double dates. Lots of laughs. In later years sitting together in Sunday School and Bible study. So thankful that Lora really came to love her Lord in the past few years and that she is resting in His arms for evermore!

Lora lived only 3 houses from me on Elisha Ave back in the 1950's. I am one year younger than her. Our little neighborhood had quite a few kids to play with. One of my fondest memories was our "roller skating shows" that we choreographed. This was with the clamp-on skates, so not very high tech. I knew and still know most of her family and extended family. Lora was fun, had a special gusto for life and she loved the Lord. May He give Peace to all. My sympathy to the family.

I met Lora 25 yrs ago when she had her shop across from Duck Inn. I always looked forward to my hair appointments, she was so funny. After she moved out of the job, I used to go to her house and get my highlights & perms. When I moved up north, I made my new hair girl call Lora to find out exactly what kind of perm she used. I was shocked to
hear about her passing, she will be missed very much

Several years ago when I was in Door County, every morning I would wake up and have my devotions. Lora would come over early because she knew I was awake and would ask me to read them to her. Then we would sit there for an hour or so and chat about many things; God, family, friends, etc. It was a very special time for both of us. I always loved have Lora for a cousin. I loved her laugh and she always was warm and kind to me. I am comforted that she knew and loved Jesus so we will have eternity to be together.
