Rich Tiedeman posted a condolence

I really liked Auntie June, she was my wife Connie Tiedeman nee Hoehner’s Aunt. And she was fun loving, full of tricks and easy to love, always laughing and smiling. I recall a couple of April Fools Day pranks she pulled, some as I recall repeatedly. She used white out or something similar and coated the top of the toilet seat to catch others with a white ring on their bottom. While that apparently worked many times in following years, her victims got smarter with better memories, so before sitting they would test the seat to see if white out was on it. Smiling that they had her and no white out found, they fell victim to her traps again, as Auntie June on purpose didn’t put white out on the seat, BUT instead put Saran Wrap on the bowl under the seat and thus successfully again got them as victims.
And she loved to tell jokes, laughing as she recalled one and was about to share. “Dees ell fitter” was one I do recall, a joking poking fun at Norwegians.

Karen Christensen Bernard posted a condolence

My condolences in the loss of your mom. I lost track of her after she moved from the apartment on Elisha St in Zion. One of the last times I saw her, I brought my dad down to see her and we had a good visit, reminiscing about all the fun times our families got together for picnics, holidays and just good fellowship. We Christensen kids have lots of good memories of times spent with the Ericksons and our folks kept in touch as long as my folks were alive. I know how much you will miss her as I miss my folks. Love and Prayers to you all as you gather together. I know she would say, it's important to continue to get together as a family every chance you get. Andy lives in Lake Villa and he called to tell me he had seen the notice in the paper. Thinking of you all. Karen
