This is a woman I knew, before I went to High School and she was a woman who put and impression in my young life. I can still remember her 59 Chevy, that her grandson's and I rode around in. We didn't have to go far to go to school or the the store, but Alice was always there for the Crouthers. She had a boyfriend when I was in school and between the two of them they always had Ice-cream. I can't remember the boyfriend's name, but i was young and live in the gardens, on Partridge Street, until I went to High School and we moved to Zion after that. That was in 1974.
