Obituary of Rick Sell

Rick Sell, 50, of Zion, IL, formerly of Buffalo Grove, IL, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Rick was born August 13, 1957, in Evanston, IL, and was a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School. He married Anita Watts on December 16, 2006, in Zion. Rick was a ten year employee of Lake County Press in Waukegan. He was a member of Trinity Christian Center in Zion. Rick was a loving and compassionate husband, father, son, and friend. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast. He is survived by his wife Anita; sons, Derrick Sell of Richmond, IL, and Brandon (fianc Samantha Giovenco) Sell of Lake Geneva, WI; step-daughters, April (Mike) Moosa of Waukegan, IL and Ronda Frost of Zion, IL; mother, Jacqueline Sell of Buffalo Grove, IL; sisters, Mary (Jim) Lovely of Enfield, CT, Debbie (Fred) Kirpec of Lenoir City, TN, and Barbara (Larry) Wright of Shelby, AL; nephew, Aaron Britt; nieces, Adrienne Beard and Sheryl Walker; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sell. A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007,from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion and again on Saturday, November 3, 2007,from 2:00-3:00p.m., with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Christian Center, 2600 Lewis Ave., Zion. Interment is private for the family.
