Also working second shift, I knew Rick ever since he started at Lake County Press. I enjoyed many late night talks with him about family and work. He was such a down-to-earth individual and I will miss his smile and cheerful disposition. Please accept my condolences. Kris Levin

I FEEL THE "SWISH" OF A BIRD, READY TO LAND ON MY ARM; I SEE A MAN THAT WORKED HARDER THAN MOST, BUT ALWAYS GAVE 100%. I HEAR THE BIRDS SINGING, THE WATERS FLOWING, THE SOUND OF A CAMPFIRE CRACKLING, A LAUGHING, HAPPY MAN WITH HIS BOYS; I HEAR A DRUM PLAYED WITH ALL THE WONDERF UL EXUBERENCE OF TALENTED YOUTH. I WATCH A SON LEFT FATHERLESS TOO SOON-I SEE HIM BECOME THE BEST MAN AND FATHER ONE COULD EVER HOPE FOR. I SEE A HARD EARNED PROMOTION REALIZED. I SEE A BEAUTIFUL NEW WOMAN, WHO HELPED TO MAKE HIM WHOLE. I SEE TWO YOUNG SONS, GROWN TO FINE YOUNG MEN IN THE IMAGE OF THEIR FATHER, OF WHOM HE WAS VERY PROUD; I HEAR HIS LAUGH, AND JOKING WAYS. I LIVE WITH HIM DURING ALOT OF HIS SORROWS,BUT ALSO SEE THE WONDERFUL THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO HIM OF LATE. THE BIRD ON MY ARM IS A SIGN FROM HIM- I AM HAPPY TO KNOW WE WILL MEET AGAIN,I AM WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU, YOUR SEESTER, MAR
