Gloria was my neighbor and a friend. I wish to extend my condolences to her surviving family. I moved away from Zion to Arizona after my Junior year of high school, but Gloria lived just across the field from us. We lived on 31st Street and she lived on what we called The Diagonal. I think she lived next to the Burnheimers. I pray that you will be comforted by our Heavenly Father in this loss. Pat Hildebrand (nee Hazel)

It seems there's very little anyone can say or do to ease the loss of one who meant so very much to you, But may you find some comfort in the sorrow that you bear, Just knowing there are many hearts that understand and care. words can tell so small a part of the sympathy within the heart. love you all Cathy

I'm so sorry for your loss. I met Curt and Gloria through Chaney, and she gave me the news. My grandfather died young because of cancer as well. While I felt sorrow, I also feel comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and in a better place. I know he is smiling down on me as she is smiling down on you now. Also, she will live on in the memories of her loving family and friends.

Gloria was always so thoughtful and giving. She always thought of everyone else. She gave so much of herself. With her passing her memory with always be with me. I worked in the office of Whiteside Drapery for many years and the first person I went to see every morning was Gloria. No matter how the day was going you came and left with a smile on your face. She will also be greatly missed by my daughter who always loved to see her. In Loving Memory, Sherry Bailey

To have Gloria as a best friend inside & outside of work was very special to me. She would always give to others in need or try to find a way to help. Gloria had this special look she would give you when something was up or she wanted to get your attention. Even in the nursing home when I would visit and she didn't feel well. She would give me that look and I knew something funny was going on that she didn't want me to miss. That was Glo! I was fortunate to call her a best friend. I will miss her so very much.
