Obituary of Eugene Collier

Eugene Olen Collier, 45, of Waukegan, formerly of Zion, died on Friday, December 15, 2006, at home. He was born August 30, 1961, in Kenosha, WI, and was employed at the Osco Store in Gurnee where he was well liked. Eugene loved gardening and photography and had a marvelous sense of humor. Survivors include his long time friend and roommate, Kenneth Mack of Waukegan; two brothers, Robert (Jeri Ann) Collier of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Jerry Collier of Rockford,IL; three sisters, Charlotte Dill of Zion, IL, Susan Michael of Waukegan, IL, and Glenda Collier of Pleasant Prairie, WI; seven nephews, two nieces; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Ruby Collier. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:30 p.m until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private for the family.
