Dear Pam, sending my heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your mom. Starr and I did get to see her a few times over the last few years and most recently at Rolling Hills. I remember your mom from way back as a kid and she was always a happy soul. She had a great smile and personality. May she rest in peace.

To Pam, my sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom. I remember her well from church at Immanuel's and I had her for a Sunday school teacher one year, and then also a vacation bible school teacher. She was a good teacher, and I got to tell her so at the funeral of Marilyn Povich in 2018. I did not know of the losses of your brothers Bob & Ronnie, and my condolences on those losses also. May the Lord comfort you at this time of your loss.
Sincerely,
Jim Sinkus

Aunt Elaine was a kind soul to many. She loved to bake and taught me how to make Klochkes (not sure of the spelling). Something her mother taught her. It’s a Scandinavian sweet. When we had Family gatherings, we would have enough food to feed “an army” or at least it appeared it could. Sometimes I often thought her and my Uncle Gordon tried to out bake each other! Lol.
I have fond memories of Aunt Elaine and will cherish the times we did have together. I now know she is resting in peace.
