Dreyer, 90, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2022.He was born on September 29, 1932. Richard dedicated his life to teaching and volunteering. He retired from Zion Benton High School as principal, was a Shriner and volunteer/donor for Shriners Hospital for Children, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; Daughter, Lisa (Ronald) Teigland and Laura Schueler; Grandchildren, Alexis, Aiden, and Ava Schueler.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Silas and Helen Dreyer; brother Robert; Sisters Sharon Gillings and Shirley TenCate.
Visitation will be held Friday December 2, 2022 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
