Obituary of Bernard Jezierny

Bernard "Bear" Jezierny Sr., 61, of Waukegan, IL, died on Saturday, November 4, 2006, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. Bernard was born June 20, 1945, in Chicago, and married Georgia Harder on July 16, 1966, in Zion, IL. He was a member of the Beach Bible Church in Zion, where he was as a youth leader, AWANA Director, and Church Board member. Bernard retired from OMC in Waukegan after 36 years of employment. His hobby involved enjoyment and collection of trains.. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Bernard is survived by his wife of 40 years, Georgia; son, Bernard (Michele) Jezierny Jr. of Waukegan; and grandchildren, Eden and Ian Jezierny. Also surviving are cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2006, at 11:30 a.m at Beach Bible Church, 3520 21st St., Zion. Interment will be private for the family. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Beach Bible Church.
