I first remember Mrs. Gantar way back in the 50's when she was my Den Mother in our local Cub Scouts. After Cub Scouts I went on to be a Boy Scout and an Explorer Scout, and kind of lost track of her. I did manage to see her off and on at times because I went to school with her 2 sons, Rick and Ron. She was always a very warm, and if had to be, a stern person. For some reason Mrs Gantar would always pop into my mind ever once in a while during my life trek. I am very sorry for your loss, and please accept my sincere condolences Dick Brean

Ronnie, Karen and girls and Rick & family, I am so sorry to learn that your mom/grandma has died. My mother telephoned me when she found out. I know it has been difficult for all of you. How wonderful that you were with her those final moments. I never met your mother, but have a clear memory of you telling me about her when she discovered that we had TeePee'd your lovely house! She called to you to come outside and look at the beautiful job we'd done! She wasn't mad at all - found it funny! (You didn't...you had to clean it all up.) So, did you get your "rascal" from your mother? It was fun to enjoy some laughs at the class reunion. Denny & I are coming to Mom's Friday, Nov. 3 for our annual fall chore weekend. I will see if you are home. Sending my sympathy to you and your entire family, Sue "Dietmeyer"
