To the entire family of Dorothy Faye...
I just have to say what an honor it was to be called a relative of this Special Lady that I call the "Matrarch" of this family...
She was small but Strong in so many ways... She loved all of the family (there was no distinction between blood or in laws) we were ALL Family in her eyes ..
I just remember so many, many adventures we had n many trips together, many talks about everything ... I loved n treasure the talks we had about Our Lord Jesus Christ... I love the advice she gave to me... the times we cooked together...
I remember one time we were at my Mother's house in N. Wisconsin for Thanksgiving n my Mother had gotten the biggest Gourd I or we ever saw... Mercy ... it was our job to cut it up n clean it out etc ... we could not cut that thing... it was as big as a basketball it seemed... so finally not to be defeated we threw it hard to the floor FINALLY getting it busted but that action was so funny n we laughed so very hard while doing it !!! great memories ...
She had the best laugh, loved to hear n see her laugh...
Oh n her Chocolate Chip Cookies I absolutely loved n just had the hardest time to stop eating when I got started...
One time Dot, my brother n I were trying to kill a snake... Now she just could not kill it with one chop in half it had to be dead I MEAN DEAD LOL so we chopped that thing but everytime I chopped it I did a squeal as it was so gory... oh we laughed so much...
I could go on n on about this Precious Soul... but want to say Thank You so much to my Brother Bud for choosing such a Precious Beautiful woman to join our family, we all loved her n she loved us n it was so genuine...
