Time spent with my brother, growing up, revealed a boy with a gentle, tender side. I’ll never forget the sounds he’d make playing with his beloved Hot Wheels collection, perfecting the revving of the motor and the squealing of tires. He’d get worried when it would storm at night and since we shared a room, would find his way to my bed for a little extra hug. I wasn’t always the best big sister. I would frequently destroy the elaborate Lincoln Log houses he had built so, so carefully on the living room floor. Even then, he would laugh right along with me. As time rolled on, our lives took different paths. Junior accepted life as it unfolded and was lucky to have my father and many good friends to keep an eye on him. I know that he worked hard and with purpose during his adult years, never quite realizing his true potential. His passion for racing cars was a labor of love. His time on earth seemed short; there were moments of great pride and then some I never understood. I believe there is a heaven where everyone meets again, I hope he is sitting with Mom now and they are having a good time catching up. My heartfelt condolences Chaz, you have another angel watching you from above, hopefully guiding you along the way.
