Obituary of William M Fischer

William “Bill” M Fischer, of Zion, IL passed away January 20, 2022, in Waukegan, IL. Bill was born July 24, 1955 in Chicago, IL. Bill married the love of his life in Las Vegas at “The Little White Chapel” 26 years ago. He was employed by Adolph Kiefer and Associates for 30 years. Bill loved his kitties, Saudi and Skittles. Saudi and Bill were inseparable. He loved any and all computer knowledge. Bill was a great chef and loved entertaining family, but his greatest love was the Green Bay Packers! He will always cheer them on! He and his wife were inseparable. They took many trips to Vegas and on the Mississippi River for house boating. Bill is survived by his wife, Wendy (nee Coleman); children, Jon Sauer, and David (Dani) Sauer; grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, and Shawn; siblings, Kelly Certo, Patrick (Theresa) Fischer; sisters-in-law, Sandy Sherwood, and Connie (Mike) Stanton; also, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial visitation will take place February 12, 2022 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 4-7 P.M. with a memorial service taking place at 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
