I'm so sad to hear about Karen. She was my closest childhood friend, along with her sister. The memories come flooding back. She gave me my very first pair of ice skates, and they both taught me how to ice skate. We shared secrets, she was my protector from bullies,such a kind and loyal friend. Everyone should be so lucky to have such a friend as she was. Rest well in heaven, my friend.
