Obituary of Aubrey Thorn

Aubrey Thorn, 66, of Beach Park died August 16, 2006 at home. Aubrey was born December 1, 1939 in Guntown, Mississippi. He attended high school in Zion, and retired from Johnson Motors Corporation in Waukegan. Aubrey served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by three daughters Linda and Debbie Thorn of Kenosha, Sherry (Ray) Heid of Azle Texas; six grandchildren David, Jenny, Heather, Savannah, Brian, Nikki; one great-grandchild; sister Carolyn Thorn, and one uncle Siniard (Gwen) Pate. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Elmer and Bertha Thorn; and his siblings Doris Harris and Everett Thorn. A memorial Service will be held Tuesday August 22, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
