Linda, Debbie, and Sherri, I tried to locate you as soon as I heard about your Dad, but have not been able to find any of you. I wanted you to know I am thinking of you and I wish I could have been there for you sooner than this. Please call me if you need me for anything to help out in anyway I can. I am moving soon to Tennessee, but you can reach me at either number I list below. Deb- Many of my cherished childhood memories have you and Bud in them..from his amazing ability to take the most beautiful photos.. to his ENDLESS knowledge of almost everything especially those planes! :) Finally, I want you to know that in my last conversation with him he talked about each one of you girls to me and his grandkids- I had asked him about you-and your health. He told me you had your ups and downs-but that he thought you were amazing in your strength to keep going--despite everything you have been through. He said Linda was doing well and he was proud of her and Sherri both. He went on and talked about recent contact with each of you. Then he started on his grandbabies-and I can tell you-I think it was about an HOUR of that conversation! They are the most BRILLIANT beings he ever encountered-he told me everything they were doing, had done and hoped they would do. I have to smile when I remember that-because I think we BOTH have complained about his long conversations-but as we get older- we learn-that things like that make them "Dad"- just like Ted--and his "Hey you got FIVE minutes to do something?", and 3 hours later you are still there ? LOL! Even though we have gotten older and are now apart in our everyday lives-I Love you. I hope that this reaches you and you are able to get in touch with me--I think a time like this is so much easier to get through when you have life lines to touch-and ever since we bonked each other in the head with our lunch boxes in third grade, you have always been in my life!
