Obituary of Eleanor Louise Davis

Elenor Louise Davis (Aunt Sis to her nieces and nephews), 95 of Zion, IL passed away on January 21, 2021 at Rolling Hills Manor nursing home in Zion, IL. Eleanor was born in Zion, IL to Charles and Esther (Robinson) Davis on February 16, 1925. After high school she worked at the Great Lakes Navel base in the photography department. While then attending Moody Bible institute night classes. In 1947 she went to Kenya East Africa and did missionary work until her retirement in 2002 where she settled in Zion. Eleanor is survived by three nieces, four nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Esther Davis, sister Caroline Folkers, and brother Clint Davis, and niece Sharon Harrison. A Graveside Service will be postponed to Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1436 Kenosha Rd Zion, IL 60099. All other services will be held at a later date.
