Obituary of Sharon Peacy

Sharon Peacy, 62, of Waukegan, died on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. Sharon was born October 8, 1943 in Kenosha, Wisconsin and lived most of her life in Winthrop Harbor. She was a 1962 graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School and was a member of Christ Community Church of Zion. She was co-founder of Littlefort Kennel Club in Waukegan, was a member of the Irish Wolfhound Club of America and she enjoyed fishing. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Bill; two sons Bill (Siobhan) Peacy of Joliet, Illinois and Brandon (Kelly) Peacy of Chicago; two grandchildren Tiernen and Garrett Peacy; and one sister Shirley Greathouse of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents Windsor and Viola Madden. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with private cremation to follow. Visitation will be Monday, August 14th, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home.
