Obituary of Terry Everett Craig
Terry Everett Craig, 64, of Zion, IL passed away August 5, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.
Terry was born May 12, 1956 in Zion, IL to George and Rosella Craig. He attended school at the Shepherds Home and School in Union Grove, WI. He attended Zion Bible Church and NorthBridge Church, and was a member of the Christian Motor Cycle Association. Terry had a love for people, and wanted them to know about Jesus. He traveled in the Midwest with the Shepherds Gospel Team singing, reciting verses, and sharing his testimony. Terry loved sports, basketball, baseball, golf, bowling and karate. He participated in Special Olympics. Terry always wore Harley Davidson clothing, hat, watch and boots. Terry had memorized over 300 Bible verses and had always talked about heaven since he was a little boy. He prayed without ceasing and was always looking for Jesus to return. Terry made an impact on everyone he came in contact with. His family knows how blessed they are to have such a special person in their lives and what a role model he has been.
Terry is survived by his siblings, Betty (Joel) Franks, Barbara Jones, and Gene (Renate) Craig, all of Andrews, NC, Sue (Ron) Heppner of Warrood, MN, and Peggy (Don) Dulaney of Zion, IL; and over 90 nieces and nephews who were so special to Terry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Henry Jones; and great nephews, Peyton Franks and Amos Clark.
