Terry was a brother to my sister's good friend. He was such a wonderful Christian young man and I frequently saw him walking with his mom in Zion in his younger years. I attended Zion Bible Church at the time and can never ever forget his sweetness and kind spirit and live for Jesus. He is in his Lord's arms now and I look forward to seeing him in Heaven one day. RIP dear Terry!

As a staff member at Shepherds since 2008, I have numerous memories of Terry including: 1) his love for motorcycles and motorcycle apparel, 2) his numerous proposals to female guests at Shepherds, and 3) his disdain for change of any kind. My most meaningful memory of Terry happened when he learned that my father has recently passed away. He put his arm around me and encouraged me with, "Jesus said - I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." Without question, Terry's words ministered to me and led to a discussion about his mom and my dad in heaven. It's one of my most memorable experiences ever at Shepherds, and now he has joined our loved ones in the presence of Jesus.

What a blessing to have Terry at Shepherds. He always wanted to be a part of the board and never wanted change. He was our resident historian. Blessed to know him.

One of my fondest memories of Uncle Terry was he loved to sing and he knew all the words to Don't let the sun go down on me by Elton John. Uncle Terry would sing it all the time, I guess it was then that made me love Elton Johns music. I was listening to the radio when I heard the news that he went to heaven, within minutes that song came on the radio. I closed my eyes and I could hear uncle Terry singing that song as he did many year's ago. I will miss you but I know you are in a better place, you are with the Lord. I am truly blessed to have called you my Uncle.

Uncle Terry had many obstacles in life, but despite his challenges he was a great role model for me. My favorite memory of Terry was walking to church with him and Grandma Craig in Zion. Terry was dressed in his Sunday best, and while I normally hated going to church as a child, Terry's joy was contagious. Terry walked to church with a sense of purpose and you could see the excitement on his face. He was the most fervent and authentic worshiper I have ever known. Terry reciting verses at his mother's funeral was one of the most impactful moments of my life. He was a great son, brother, uncle, friend, and man. We will miss him deeply until we meet again.
