He was my best friend. I talked to him every day...sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes 3/4 hours straight while gaming. It started off as gaming, but soon enough we realized that it was more about catching up and talking about pretty much everything, We were super excited for 2020...and we had said that we wanted it to be an amazing year, full of things we wanted to fulfill. Ty / T -Bone / Tails...we had so many names for each other...He was there for me during the happiest and darkest moments of my life. The day before he passed, we were gaming, like usual, almost beating this new game that we were in love with. While gaming, I got the news that my nephew was about to be born and so I had to rush to the hospital. Ty kept texting me, asking if I had become an uncle.
You've left an enormous void buddy. One that will never be filled again. One that was filled with love, friendship, honesty, and the purest fun! What comforts me the most, during these last weeks that I have called to be a nightmare, is knowing that he's in a better place. Tyler had a god-given gift of knowing how to love and make everyone around him feel like they were special. When rage strikes me sometimes because of the fact that it's too hard to accept that he's gone, I look up and I thank God for being some sort of ''chosen'' one because I had the once in a lifetime opportunity of knowing and having Tyler as my friend. Being your friend Ty will always be one of my life's greatest joys. I will always love you and I know that we will see each other again; it'll be just like old times.
