Obituary of Zelma Horne

Zelma Horne, daughter of Phyllis and George Jones passed December 14th, 2018.

There will be Vistation at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan, Illinois, on Wednesday, December 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  Mass Service will follow.

Zelma (Collins) Horne is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, her husband Robert Horne, her daughter Margaret Horne, and her great grandson Nathaniel.  Zelma  is survived by her daughters Robin Chess widow of Frank and Daphne Pilotte (Joey Marocco).  Her sons Philip & wife Diane, Patrick & wife Sharee, Trevor & wife Greta, 11 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Zelma, born in Perth, Australia was married to Robert G. Horne in 1944.  They spent 40 wonderful years together and were blessed with six loving children.  Zelma’s greatest joys were her devotion to her Family and her unwavering Faith in Christ.  She leaves behind a legacy of Love, Devotion, Committment, a Strong Work Ethic, and a Compassion extending to All People.  She will be deeply missed.
