Although many years have passed since we saw Kris we have fond memories of her when she was a part of our family. She, Larry and I had long talks at our family get togethers. God has welcomed her into the heavenly family she is now a part of.

I had the pleasure of working with Kris for one short but very rewarding year as we provided meals to the students at Warren High School's O'Plaine campus. Kris and I hit it off immediately. I loved her witty character, which she balanced with a determination to get the job done correctly each day. She spoke lovingly about her children and husband, and worked well with her co-workers and the students. At times those students forced her into the role of "enforcer"...i.e. "NO BACKPACKS IN THE CAFETERIA!". Her booming voice could be heard loud and clear. But she was truly admired by many of those same students she served each day. On the few occasions that she needed to miss a shift, she would always come in the next day unneccessarily bearing a gift for me, usually with her husband's approval, and usually from the Gun Store, as we were all avid shooters in our private lives. I regret that I am unable to attend her service this afternoon. My sincere condolences to her husband, daughters and extended family. If there are any silver linings to be found in her passing, I would imagine that the heavenly reunion with her dear little boy Bobby was and is pure joy. May she rest in peace.

Sue,Erma & Family,I am so sorry about hearing about kris, as you know she is a dear friend and I was just thinking of her the other day and said a prayer for all of you, as I often do for Sue, Steve, & family. Kris always made me laugh and made me smile ,I loved her like a sister! We often seemed to get into innocent trouble, and we kind of played off of each other , I’ll never forget our little trip to Merriville Indiana, Sue & Erma probably remember. She will always be a
fond memory! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!!

Dear Sue,Erma and family,
I was devastated in hearing about Kris. I am so very sorry and trust me I know that words don’t help the terrible hurt you are all feeling.
I remember like it was yesterday all the crazy stuff we did together.
Kris brought so much joy and love to her family and friends. She was always fun to hang out with. As we grew older and went our different ways we lost touch for that I am sorry.
Sue hold your memories close and she will be with you forever.
I am so sorry I won’t be able to pay my respects in person but I believe we will meet again someday.
My deepest sympathy to you all.
Love Always,
Rhonda or as Kris would say “Rhoda”
