My condolences to Mrs. Williams' family. When I was in high school, I visited with the girls several times. Mrs. Williams was a brilliant conversationalist, always positive, and always made me feel welcome and comfortable in her home. When I mentioned how lovely her cardinal figurines, etc, were, I remember her explaining that her redbirds were a reminder of West Virginia. She was a great example of a how a gentlewoman should be.
