My condolences to the family in this difficult time. Please remember that God can comfort us particularly at times like this. So draw close to God in prayer so He can draw close to you to comfort you and to give you that peace of God that surpasses all understanding (James 4:8; Philippians 4:6;7). May the family have peace and remain together.

I am so very sorry to read of your family’s loss. It is lovingly apparent that Mr. Draudt was loved, very much. During tragic times like this, I like to reflect on 1 Cor. 15:25, which tells us how God feels . . . about death. There we read: “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” This helps us to see that death is not a part of life, because here God refers to it as our ‘enemy.’ As a result, at Acts 24:15, God promises there will be a resurrection, of our loved ones who’ve fallen asleep in death—back to life on earth—so that we can see them again. I sincerely hope these scriptures help to comfort your family as they have mine, and if you'd like to read the Bible online, or learn more about God's promises for our loved ones who've fallen asleep in death, please feel free to visit JW. org. While it has been more than 60 years since I last saw Fred, I remember his ever smiling face, and great personality. He was part of the "older" group in the days of MYF at Winthrop Harbor Methodist Church but was liked and respected by all. My prayers go out to his sister Carol, who was in my class in school, and to Fred's immediate family... "till we meet again".

I am so very sorry for your loss.
Even with only knowing Laurie for a short time, it is so very apparent how much Fred (Dad) was loved.
May you always remember with a smile on your face, the wonderful times that you had together.
God Bless
Vickie

I had never met Fred personally, however, I have worked with his wonderful daughter Laurie for about three years. She has spoken so fondly and lovingly of her dad (and her mom) over the time I have known her. I am so sorry for the loss of such a terrific man. Prayers for everyone.
