God knows the pain we feel when we lose a loved one and provides us with comfort and peace thru his word. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 may you have confidence and comfort in the fulfillment of the promises.

Deepest sympathies and hear felt prayers of peace and comfort for you all at the passing of your beloved father, husband, and brother. We were honored to both meet and spend some time with him at Oktoberfest. When honorable men of faith pass it leaves a void in this broken world. May his memory remain with fond recollection and his wise counsel continue to guide you.
Prayer of St. Francis (which some have called the policemen's prayer);
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me bring love.
Where there is offense, let me bring pardon.
Where there is discord, let me bring union.
Where there is error, let me bring truth.
Where there is doubt, let me bring faith.
Where there is despair, let me bring hope.
Where there is darkness, let me bring your light.
Where there is sadness, let me bring joy.
O Master, let me not seek as much
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love,
for it is in giving that one receives,
it is in self-forgetting that one finds,
it is in pardoning that one is pardoned,
it is in dying that one is raised to eternal life.

Dear Family,
This is such sad news I'm so glad we were able to visit at Peters funeral. I knew then that Frank was not well. Hopefully you've had some valuable family time during these past times.
With Frank's death I reflect on family memories with love. Please accept my condolences. Hopefully we will be in touch.
With love,
Cousin Risë

I am not certain where to begin. So I will start with the words that best describe what I think of Frank.
Laughter. Perhaps the hardest I have ever laughed in my lifetime, was laughing at stories Frank shared about his life in Highwood. It is the stories that Frank shared with me that did more to endear Highwood to me than anything else.
Professionalism. His love for Highwood, and his determination to serve this community with the highest degree of professionalism and loyalty. Again, Frank taught me how to respect this community and his shared stories taught me why.
Grumpyness- He did grumpy with HIGH STYLE. If he were doing clothing fashion he would be Grace Kelly. His grumpy was the most endearing thing about him, because once you knew him, you knew that grumpy was only a thin tissue covering up a warm and loving heart.
I was blessed to know this man. I thank his family from the bottom of my heart, for lending him to us (Highwood) all the many years he was devoted to us and working so hard.
There are some people whose human light will shine on LONG after they are gone. Franks will burn for brightly in so many memories with fondness, love and smiles.
A story. The first Taste of Highwood was on a weekend of grueling heat. There was a woman that lived across the street that was in her early 100's (yes, its HIghwood, you read it right.) She wanted her yard to look good, so in the grueling heat, she was outside pulling her weeds. Frank went over and told her to go inside it was to hot. She wouldn't. So Frank told her HE would pull the weeds. He did. With that she went in the house (watching him every step of the way!) That's what I will always remember about this most amazing man. God bless all of you. He will be missed.
