It was only a few weeks ago that I was sharing with my nephew some stories of my youth that I mentioned my friend the "Fitch". We talked of how often we would play army games at his house or mine with our little plastic figures and even times when we just visited as his dad cut my hair. Now I read of his passing. May God grant him the peace of His love and rest. I see he is to be interred in Ms and not far from where I live - since I am now just reading of his services it is past time for his internment, a service which I would have made an attempt to attend my health permitting.
