Steve was one of my best friends. We started playing music together back in 1959. He was very kind, had a very big heart and was always there as a friend to help with anything that needed to be done. He will always live in my heart and his music will live with me until the last breath I take. When my time comes I hope to join him and Tommy Palmer upstairs. In my heart always Steve! My condolences go to all of the Steve Wypych Family.

My thoughts and prayers for the family on the loss of your love one. Steve worked at B.C. which I knew of him through this business. Steve was always a gentleman and very respectful. I am so sorry but pray you'll treasure fond memories in your heart forever. Family member of B.C.

August 22, 2010 I was lucky to have met Steve. He taught me many things. Some of my Favorite moments on Stage were along side of him. He loved, and breathed Music, and everything that went along with it. I'm certain Steve was just one good opportunity away from the "Big Time". He was the total Package. Musically gifted, along with an addictive Charm, and intense Spirit.

Love and blessings to the family on your loss. Steve was a great guy! Lots of memories in my past. I love this and hope it brings you comfort as it has me many times over the years. What is Dying? A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon, and someone at my side says, "She is gone." Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all, she is just as large as when I saw her... The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in her, and just at the moment when someone at my side says "she is gone", there are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up a glad shout "there she comes!" ...and THAT is dying. I am very sorry to hear about Steve. He was someone I always looked up to as a young man. As a musician myself I valued his opinions and loved his passion. My condolences go out to his family and especially his brother Wayne. I lost my brother bob(also a good friend of Steve's) 25 years ago and still haven't gotten over it. Blessings my brother. I know that we will be jamming in Heaven someday soon.. Buddy Stephens

My heart felt sympathy to Steve's family. I first met Steve when I was a kid and he was working paving the street I lived on. He gave me a ride on the "steam roller". What a thrill for me. Later my brother played in American Can with him and I use to go to practices with my brother. I always enjoyed watching him play! He will be missed.

Steve and I were together in the Outspoken Blues. It was great seeing him at our reunion in 2008. I considered Steve a dear friend. I'll miss his music, and I'll truly miss him.
