Andre & Connie, I am actually crying as I write to you this morning. A friend of mine told me last night about Jeanne and I had no idea. I loved all of you and my heart is broken. I haven't seen you guys since the old Gold's Gym days and to hear about her in this way is crushing. Her smile radiated throughout the gym and her warmth and friendship to me was always appreciated and adored...as was yours. I am actually speechless for one of the few times in my life. It's amazing how you don't talk to a friend for years but you never feel disconnected even as time passes. I cannot imagine your grief and I have little to offer you other than my prayers, ongoing love & friendship and any support I may offer. Andre, if there is ANYTHING I can do to help you with AJ and Aliana (who I never knew about) please let me know. I love you both very much and will pray for you. May our grief and sadness be reminders of the inspiration of our friend, wife and sister gave to us. We are lucky to have known her and shared but a few minutes of this precious life with her. As we hurt...it gives tribute to the fact that she touched us deeply and left a permanent impression on our very soul. Peace to you my distant friends. Chris Adsit

I've had the privilege of knowing Jeanne while working together at Abbott. In spite of her illness and numerous visits to the hospital and OR, Jeanne never complained nor did she falter in her resolve to fight the disease (a few days after her initial surgery, she was already eager to resume her exercise regimen). She wanted to be well for her children. She was such a loving and hands-on mother to AJ and Aliana, always being there (loudly cheering!) for AJ at his games. She was very proud of his accomplishments and her children were usually the topic of her conversations. She also was a devoted daughter and, in the end, I am thankful she passed away in her mother's loving arms, with family beside her. She will be remembered always for her bright smile and brave spirit.

Rosa and family, our deepest condolences. I knew your lovely daughter through her Godmother, Rosa J., all these years. She was a very brave young lady; and had a mother and family who loved her deeply. She will live in your hearts forever. I'd like to share with you the following poem, author Mary Stevenson. "The other night, Jeanne had a dream that she was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from her life flashed across the sky. In each scene, she noticed footprints in the sand; sometimes there were two sets, other times there was only one. This bothered her because she noticed that during her suffering and pain she only saw one set of footprints. So, she said to the Lord, "you promised me that if I followed you, you would always walk with me." But I noticed that during my pain and suffering there was only one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you the most you were not there for me?" The Lord replied, "the times when you only saw one set of footprints, that was when I carried you."

Our heartfelt condolences to to the family for their loss. Our time on earth is blessed by the people we come in contact with. Our lives our entwined with those we love. Our journey is but a piece of destiny of our life. For those who crossed our path, we wish eternal peace. For those we shall encounter we bless them with love, for we are not promised tomorrow, we should relish each day. Dwell not in the past, but embrace the future, for the blessing we share each day, called life. Amen.
