To the LaBelle Family, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I have fond memories of your wife/mom/ and grandmother attending our music programs at East Elementary. With 5 grandsons there, that would be alot of shows! Whether we were outstanding or pitiful, she always made us feel like we were the best in the world. I shall always remember her kindness. Sincerely, Dr. Byrd (music teacher for John, Joe, Jay, Jeff, and Jack)

Want to extend my sympathies to the LaBelle family. Was my honor to meet Kathleen when Anne and I attended school together. Kathleen was an extraordinarily special person and touched many lives. I remember her lovely smile and her many kindnesses. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear all of you - Kathy was such a wonderful person to know and I am truly sorry for your loss. She was always welcoming, warm-hearted and generous. I spent many hours at the LaBelle home with Jan. Kathy was always there for questions and for good snacks. I think she was the first adult who let me call her by her first name!

We are profoundly touched by Kathy's passing and send our deepest sympathy and Christian love and concern to Kip and the family. We have many memories but especially vivid are the recollections of our trip together to the Alps in 1970.

My memories of childhood include many memories of my mom and her dear friend, Kathy, and their "sewing circle" friends enjoying life together, usually laughing and sometimes crying together. Their example of close friendship and sharing life together instilled in me a desire to have true friendships, like theirs. Kathy's vibrant personality and her cheerfulness will always live in my memory. I am sad that she is gone from this earth, but so happy for her to be set free and walking the streets of heaven. I would imagine that she has a lot of questions which are being answered today. May her family all be comforted as they celebrate her life.
