Our sympathy goes out to the entire family on their lost of Dennis. Wendy and myself first met Dennis as a customer for buying snowmobiles and parts. Not only was Dennis a customer, but ended up working for us part time and ending in a good friendship. With his gift to talk racing, snowmobiling or fishing he was never short on things to discuss. Not hearing of his passing we were unable to attend the memorial services. Dennis, his stories around the shop will be missed. Dennis will continue to fish, snowmobile and watch the races, God Bless!

We have known Dennis for a while thru Larsen Marine and our tackle shop. He sure loved his boating and fishing! You never knew what he was going to say from time to time, but it was always funny! Dennis would give you his last nickle if you needed it and was always a really nice guy. We will miss him comming into the shop for coffee and a gab session. Rest in peace Dennis, we won't forget you!

If i knew it would be the last time I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in tighter and pray the Lord your soul to keep. If I knew it would be the last time I'd see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and a kiss and call you back for one more. If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice and praise, I would videotape each action and word to play them back, day after day. If I knew it would be the last time I could spare an extra minute or two, to stop and say I love you instead of assuming you knew I do. If I knew it would be the last time I'd be there to share your day, I'm sure there will be so many more so I can let this one slip away. For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we will always get a second chance to make everything right. There will always be another day to say our "I love you's" and certainly there's another chance to say "anything i can do?" But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all i get, I'd like to say how much I love you and hope we never forget. Tomorrow is not promised anyone, young or old alike, and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight. So, if your waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day you that you didn't take the extra time for a smile, a hug or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone what turned out to be their one last wish. So always hold them dear. Take time out to say I'm sorry, please forgive me, or it's okay and if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today. We love and miss you Uncle D. Love Jo

Dennis and I went all through school together. I lived on the lakefront and we roamed those swamps and delivered lots of newspapers on his Honda 50. Dennis was my first crush and we remained friends even as we grew older. I am currently writing a fiction novel about my escapades growing up at the lakefront and the character of "my friend, Dennis" is already in development. I miss his crazy personality and he always kept a little piece of my heart! I am sorry for your loss and I will be praying for your family. Elizabeth "Betty" Oliver Upton

We want to send our heart felt condolences to each and everyone of you's. Ken saw Dennis not to long ago at Victory and he shared his situation with him. They got to spend sometime with one another while Dennis waited for his ride. We got to know Dennis thru his Grandmother Verna. And with that began his beloved trips snowmobiling in the UP with our family and friends. We had great times and shall cherish the memories we had with him. God Bless to each and everyone of you's and know you will all have your moments of fond memories to look back on. In God's Love Ken & Kathy Henke

Dennis, you will be missed ... your life here has ended much too soon. But ... my most recent memory of you, when you passed me on Sheridan Road last summer and you stuck your tongue out at me... That's exactly how I want to remember you … the real you … oh, you made me laugh! Those days, the four of us together, so many years ago … Blake and family: May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Hang on to those memories, hold them tight!
