Dear Al, Renee, and Eric: I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him in Sharon Taylor's classroom at Viking School, before he went to Laremont school. He was wonderful to work with, and had a wicked sense of humor. He will be forever in our hearts and memories. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful spirit with us who educated him, and in return, were taught by him. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Dear Rene, Allen & Family- Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow. I had the pleasure of being Scott's Speech-Language Pathologist at Laremont School for some years, both in Tammy's room and in Sarah's room. He was a great communicator and a persistent one too. There was something special about him that always brought a big smile to my face. He will always hold a special place in my heart and will forever be missed. My deepest and sincere sympathy for your loss, Kristin

Dear Rene, Al, and Family, I had the honor of being Scott's substitute teacher at Laremont for many years. He brought me joy and happiness and always made me smile. I enjoyed taking him down for swimming because he loved it so much. Watching him do his job skills and earn his worksheets was the highlight of my day. He was a bright and fun loving boy who will be missed by so many. Rene, you are the best mother there could ever be for your love and endless devotion. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Renee, Alan and Eric: The children and I have so many memories of Scott. So many years, yet so little time. It was my privilege to be one of the people you trusted to care for Scott and to take him "shopping", swimming and playing. I have learned more from you all then you will ever know. Your quiet strength and knowledge are amazing. Watching Scott grow and learn was a privilege. Words can never express how sad I am that he has passed on. You are in our hearts. We will never forget our buddy!

I have such wonderful memories of Scott as a very little boy. I count it among my blessings that Scott came into my class and my life. Watching him learn and grow never failed to fascinate and amaze me. He was an especially fortunate guy to have a loving and supportive family to pave his journey through school and life. My admiration for you, Renee, is boundless. You are my ideal of a loving mother, a strong advocate and a loyal friend. You are the heart and soul of our little “dinner group” and the glue that holds us together. You are always the one with the research and resources to help and inspire everyone else. I hope we’ll be able to give just a small part of that back to you now to help just a little in the coming weeks and months. I loved Scott and I loved keeping up with him through you. He will be missed.

I know that Trevor cared deeply for Scott and always tried to be his helper. Our hearts and prayers go out to you during this most difficult time. Love, with our deepest sympathy, Mary Ann & Trevor
