Dear Carol and all your family...I just got an email about your Mom. As you may remember, our Moms were good friends--since Kindergarten, from what I understand, and were part of a group of the ZBTHS class of '40 which got together regularly through the years. I still remember having my 8th grade picture taken by your Mom--I still have the pictures which my Mom (Rachel Liddle) gave me just before she passed away June of 2008. Anyway, I want you to know I am thinking of and lifting you up in prayer for peace and comfort during your time of loss. God's blessings on you and your family! Debbie Knowles

Dearest Uncle Chuck, Joan, Carol and Families - I am so sorry for the pain and grief you are feeling. Aunt Gloria was such a sweetheart -- absolutely one of a kind. She was the rare person who could be fully herself and could see the unique value in every other person. Aunt Gloria took a lot of joy in life. And I think all of us who loved her will take joy in remembering our times together. Bye, Aunt Gloria! I'll be with the family in spirit tomorrow and will drink a toast to you.

Aunt Gloria was the best. She was always there with a warm smile and a hug. People couldn’t help but feel completely comfortable with her even when meeting her for the first time. She had such a gift for making you feel special. And she had so many interesting stories and anecdotes that we all loved to hear. I know that Aunt Gloria genuinely enjoyed writing down her memories for all of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. I love reading those stories. Aunt Gloria and Uncle Chuck have been a constant in my life and my family’s; always there for birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc. These family events will never be the same without her. We sure will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Uncle Chuck, Joan, Carol, and all of the Plummer off-shoots. Love, Michael and Linda De Rossi

I'm so glad we had that evening at Mike's this summer! Aunt Gloria was in fine comedic form and we shared some heartfelt laughs. I will always think of her with her big smile, head thrown back to laugh, and that mischievous twinkle in her eye. She was a dear who will be greatly missed. Prayers for the healing of all of your hearts. With love, Nita

Dear Chuck, Carol, Joan and families; My thoughts and prayers go out and up for all of you. Gloria was a most enjoyable and pleasant person--it was always a pleasure to be around her. My Mom held Gloria in high regard and in a loving friendship all through their lives. After all, they were the ZBTHS Class of '40 just as Carol and I are Class of '68. May God bless and keep all of you at this difficult time. Jim Richter Louisville, KY
