Skeeter was truly a special man to our family. We have so many happy and fun memories. It truly has been a blessing to have known him. A very heartfelt thank you to the Lewis and Hopkins family for sharing and letting us be a part of your family. I couldn't imagine the last thirty some years without Skeeter. He will be forever missed.

Skeeter was and is the best man I have ever had the pleasure to know. I have known him and his family my whole life and I have many great memories. The lord couldn't have created a man better than Skeeter. I will look back and not cry but laugh at his sense of humor. I will forever love and miss him. Love, Donna

To "Skeeter's" Family. We will miss him on Monday nights at Niko's in Twin Lakes. We enjoyed talking with him, listening to his stories and his jokes and loved watching him kick up his legs on the dance floor. Sometimes he talked about the pain he was in but never for very long. He shared his love of music with us and gave us albums over the years and we will treasure them. He enjoyed hearing us play "In the Jailhouse Now" and we will continue to play it in rememberance of him. We will think of him often.

I always looked forward to seeing Skeeter on the dance floor. He always had a smile to share and a dance to spare. He will always be in my memories, present, past, & future. He'll be dancin' in the heavens.

I will remember James as a fun-loving guy. When he would visit his brother Bobby on Vashon in Washington, he loved to dance at the 4th of July party. Everyone looked forward to his entertaining jokes!! He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My sympathy goes out to the family. Mr. Lewis loved his wife and children with all his being, I believe he really understood the meaning of the word family and cherished each and every one of you. I have good memories of Mr. Lewis ... he was a sweet man. We were neighbors years ago and he'd come by our house to visit with my Dad each Friday afternoon. I'd bake a chocolate cake just for him because he always seemed to enjoy them so much! The world will miss his warm smile.
