Funny, that a week ago today, bored in Texas, I sorted through cards I had saved over forty years for crafts. Most were cut in half and the message tossed, but in the 'saved' pile were notes and cards from Eleanor. Memories of rototilling the garden, sharing the New Yorker, and going to Kenosha Symphony bubbled up as I read. Now, I recall her sparkly smile at her 90th Birthday! I was blessed to see that smile during just a few years of her ninety-nine. God bless Eleanor on her way, she was a gift to everyone who knew her. Donna
