There are so many little stories. Our Dad use to tell of David as a little boy squeezing between our parents when they were hugging or sitting too close on the couch saying "Break it up, break it up". Naughy little boy David bent the handle of a table knife and it became "David's knife" anytiime he sat at our parents table, even into adulthood. I will always remember the images of the little boy with the coon skin cap and little boy running toward the camera like Johnny Unitus in our family home movies. When we were little and visiting our grandparents in Humboldt, AZ, David would get a kick out of showing his little sisters the shoe box of Horn Toads he had collected. Of course the Horn Toads would hiss when he opened the box and we would run off screaming. When he was a teenager he had an uncanny knack of making us feel like it was a priviledge to clean his bedroom or car. It is funny though I remember really wanting to do this for him. He really was a GREAT big brother. He was always there when I needed him. Family was everything to him, he was so loyal. David I will always love you and look up to you. You will be in my heart forever, love, Lori

first met dave, and his parents around 1959. used to walk to school with him ,and neighbors every day. one of the kindest(like his parents) and nicest people i have known. allways ready to give a hand if needed. never said a bad word about anyone, or anyone said anything bad about dave. he was one of the good ones. a real shame not to see him again, or his trademark "how`s it goin". if you were his friend, you were his friend for life. he enjoyed many things in his life, family most of all.
