Obituary of Theresa Moore

Theresa Ruth Moore, 87, of Pope, MS and formerly of Beach Park, IL died May 14, 2014 in Batesville, MS. She was born December 23, 1926 in Fulton, MS and came to Zion in 1961. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Kenosha, WI. She retired in 1987 after 19 years at Dynapar Corp. in Gurnee, IL. Theresa was a member of the Zion Senior Citizens Club while she lived in Beach Park. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Lester) Mapes of Pope, MS; grandchild, Anthony (Joanna) Mapes of Beach Park, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1981; parents, William and Sally Dickerson; and 17 siblings. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL. Memorial donations to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1700 89th St., Kenosha, WI 53143 would greatly be appreciated.
