Obituary of Carrie Lee

Carrie D. Lee, 55, of Zion, IL, died on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL. She was born December 4, 1958, in Brevard County, FL. Carrie was a talented artist and loved to cook for people. She loved her children dearly and would do anything for anyone. She would often reminisce fondly on her time spent in Japan mostly while listening to classic rock. She was loved and will be missed. She is survived by her children, Destiny Swan of East St. Louis, IL, James (Jaclyn Dankowski) Swan of Zion, IL, and John (Kat Dankowski) Swan of Zion, IL; close companion, Antonio "Tony" Torres of North Chicago, IL; and the cat she loved, "Baby Girl." She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lawrence and Shirley Miller. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Rd. Beach Park, IL. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
