Obituary of Clifford Odell

Clifford A. "Cliff" Odell, 71, of Zion, IL,, passed away suddenly on May 4, 2014, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL. Cliff was born March 11, 1943, in Southampton, New York, and graduated from Southampton High School in 1961. He married Nan Kronick on September 21, 1984, in Zion. Cliff served with the United States Navy for 8 years and was employed by the Zenith Corporation as a National Training Specialist. He was a model airplane enthusiast and belonged to the "Sky Knights" Model Airplane club in Libertyville, IL. Cliff is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nan Kronick; sons, Brian Odell of Garden Grove,CA, and Scott Odell of Rockford, Il; step-children, Justin Kozerow of Zion, IL, and Sarah Kozerow of Milwaukee, WI; grandson, Brendan Curtiss; sisters-in-law, Mary Odell of New York, and Mary Lou Odell of Florida; many nieces and nephews and other family. Cliff was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Odell; brothers, Harold and Jerome Odell; sister, Althea Cangiolosi; and parents, Ernest and Dorothy Odell. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. at the Winthrop Harbor VFW, 1112 Sheridan Rd.,Winthrop Harbor, IL. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at the VFW. Memorial donations are suggested to Vista Hospice, MDA, or the Narcolepsy Network.
