Obituary of Donna Hull

Donna M. Hull, 82, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014. at Rolling Hills Manor, Zion, IL. She was born June 5, 1931, in Winthrop Harbor, IL, and graduated from Waukegan Township High School on June 10, 1949. Donna married her late husband of 58 years, George, on September 5, 1953. Although mostly a homemaker, she did work as a Store Manager fo the Lake Forest Shops in Hubbard Woods. Donna formerly belonged to the " Vette Set" Car Club and "Wood Choppers" at the old Grand Bowl. She loved spending time with family and friends, (especially her grandchildren) and also enjoyed spending time at her trailer in Elkhorn, WI. Survivors include children, Denise Grogan of Waukegan, IL, Jeff Hull of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Kurt (Karen) Hull of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren, Kalin and Kristi Hull, and Gary (Jini) Grogan Jr. and Tim (Shirley) Grogan; and eight great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 2011; infant daughter, Jody; brother, Dennis Wedekind; son-in-law, Gary Grogan; infant grandsons, Billy and Wayne Grogan; and father and mother, John and Ruth Wedekind. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 11:00 am. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL, with Rev. Brad Davick of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Waukegan, officiating. Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
