Obituary of Leah Lowe

Leah Lowe, 78, of Beach Park, IL died on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan, IL. She was born September 21, 1935 and raised in Chicago and came to Beach Park in the 1970's. she attended Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park where she enjoyed working the annual rummage sale. Leah was employed by Illinois Dept of Aging, retiring in 2002. She was also an avid reader. Survivors include friends and care givers Stephen Voltz of Silver Lake, WI, and Daniel Hazelton and Roger Boulanger both of Beach Park, IL; and her animal companions "Tanner", "Ted", "Smokey", "Chance", and "Miracle". She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1974; and her parents Fred and Belle Stein. A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, IL.
