Obituary of Julie Russell

Julie Russell, 52, of Kenosha WI, died March 31, 2014 in Kenosha, WI. Julie was born December 12, 1961 in National City, CA. She grew up in Beach Park, IL, graduated from Zion Benton High School in 1980 and then received a degree in Interior Design. Julie married Ronald Russell in 1997. She attended Community Christian Church in Beach Park and worked for Stein's in Kenosha. In her free time, Julie liked gardening, riding motorcycles, and always had a design project in the works. Her main love was her grandchildren. Julie is survived by her husband of 16 years Ron Russell; children, Michael Russell, Elise (Derrick) Polk, Dayna Rivelli, and Ryan Russell, all of Beach Park, IL; 4 grand children, Daisy Russell, Landon and Dharion Polk, and Lexi Carrillo; mother, Wilma Bartholomew; sisters, Janice Clark, and Joyce (Jeff) Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Bartholomew. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL., with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
