Memories of Aunt Lois go back to my early childhood days when she was always helpful - When I was about 9 or 10 years old, after the loss of my mother, I wanted to surprise my father with a special meal when he got home from work. Aunt Lois talked me through the instructions on the phone of how to cook chicken and rice, which was the beginning of many cooking instructions. I was also staying in her home when I learned of my father's passing. Through more recent years, primarily through phone calls, Aunt Lois was always encouraging and supportive. I will always remember her with admiration for her stability and steadfastness throughout the ups and downs of life. With love, her niece, Rachel Samuelson
