Obituary of Bernice Ross

Bernice F. Ross, 87, of Pleasant Prairie, WI formerly of Zion, IL died March 30, 2014 in Kenosha, WI. Bernice was born August 24, 1926 in Evanston, IL. She graduated from Evanston High School in 1945. Bernice worked for Baxter Corp. and retired after 10 years. In her free time, she liked reading, puzzles, and crosswords. She enjoyed sightseeing with her family, especially on her trips to Alaska and Germany. She is survived by her sister Delores Quinn of Lake Zurich, IL and brothers Kenneth Seidl of Bloomington IL, and Alan (Madeline) Seidl of Rolling Meadows,IL. grandchild, Laura (Ernie) Unrein of Pleasant Prairie, WI; great grandchildren, Amanda Schmelke and Jeff Skye both of Kenosha, WI; 3 great great grandchildren, William Schmelke of Pleasant Prairie WI, Breanna Hudson and Tessa Skye both of Kenosha WI; a daughter, Diana Williams of OK; and several nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Fred Ross; her son Dennis Ross; and parents, Frank and Helen Seidl. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date.
