Obituary of Georgialee Ramos

Ramos, Georgialee (Feely) 80, of Zion, IL, formerly of Waukegan and Grandwood Park in Gurnee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, surrounded by her family at Advocate Condell Hospital, Libertyville, IL. Georgialee was born on September 1, 1933, in Champaign, IL. She was employed as a U.S. Civil Service Employee for a number of years with the U.S. Army at Ft. Sheridan, lL, and finally retired from the Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, IL, on August 5, 2005. Georgialee enjoyed taking care of her cats, especially Precious, and spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring person and will be deeply missed. Georgialee leaves behind her husband, Edelmiro "Eddie" Ramos, whom she married on September 19, 1987, in Waukegan, lL; daughters, Jeanette (Frank) Phillips, Lake Villa, lL, Sandra Pollock, Elizabethtown, KY; stepdaughter, Enid (nee, Ramos), Trenton, NJ; brother, Eugene "Bobby" Louthan, Porter, IN; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Col. James L. Feely Jr. USARNG; daughter, Pamela S. Albert; parents, Paul and Thelmare Louthan; son-in-law, James Albert, and great-grandson, Christopher Adam Weiss. Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A Chapel Entombment Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
