I want to send my deepest condolences to the family of Aggie. I met her in the 80's and at one time was married to her son John. Aggie was always dear to me and she will always take a place in my heart. God Bless and May the family be at peace with Aggie finally resting.

Aggie was a dear friend whom everyone loved and now miss. She loved children. Any time anyone needed a babysitter, our first response was "Call Aggie." When you went to her home there was usually a pot of very black coffee available for drinking. At the church dinners, no one ever had to ask Aggie what she wanted to drink; it was always coffee. She loved to play Rummy Cube and her pastor loved to play with her because he is very competitive and likes to play with people who are good at any game. Aggie could beat him occasionally, :) and he liked to tease her when he won. The stories I shared at the funeral service were true and I know hundreds of others, but time does not permit me to write the history of our friendship. I want to say to the family you should never forget what a jewel God gave you for a mother/grandmother. Don't fail her or God. by your lifestyle. Be all that you can be to provide the world with a better citizen because we lost a good one and somebody has to take her place.

Very sorry for your loss. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. I used to goto to First Baptist Winthrop Harbor. I remeber hearing Mrs. Grider sing years ago at church. It was a wonderful sound everytime. She was always so loving to everyone. I'll never forget her.
